Nixie is Threshold’s first agent: the helper you talk to. She looks at your screen when you ask, draws on it to teach you, and does the work in your apps. Threshold is the app around her: it keeps what’s private on your Mac and gives you a receipt for whatever leaves.
No. Nixie looks when you ask her something, and reads the window you’re working in to answer. Threshold doesn’t record your screen in the background.
On Free, nothing needs to: Nixie thinks with a brain that runs on the Mac. On Pro, the words her cloud model needs go to the cloud after names, cards, accounts and other private details are swapped out, and every time it happens you get a receipt.
Threshold. Every plan comes with Nixie: Free runs her on your Mac, and Threshold Pro gives her a frontier cloud model, teaching on your screen and the work in your apps. You don’t pay per agent, and new agents are meant to come with the plan you have. If one ever needs much more computing power, we’ll say so before it costs anything.
Yes. Nixie is only the first. Each new agent will have its own name and its own strengths, and each one goes through the same privacy layer. We’ll show them here when they’re ready, not before.
No, and we’d rather say so. Nixie thinks with a leading cloud model (or one on your Mac, on Free). What’s ours is everything around it: her voice and character, how she sees and draws on your screen, what she’s allowed to do, and the cleaning that happens before anything leaves.
